Ngahihi o te ra will be a keynote speaker at the Tertiary Education Management Conference in Christchurch
Information from the conference website outlines that “Investing for Success”, is the theme for the 2008 conference and highlights the undoubted connection between articulating a vision for success in Tertiary Education and the deliberate strategies around investing in the achievement of that vision.
This conference provides the opportunity for delegates from all levels and sectors of tertiary education to consider how strategic investment decisions impact on the ability of their organisation to deliver quality outcomes and goals for the stakeholders.
The organising committee has worked with our professional conference managers to put together an impressive selection of key note speakers who are all well placed to add strength to the theme of investment in Tertiary Education in order to achieve success.
Ngahihi o te ra Bidois said "It is nice to be provided with an opportunity to develop the Tertiary education sector.I am looking forward to drawing from my experiences in the tertiary sector as a lecturer, academic adviser and senior manager to present information from a Maori perspective that will encourage, exhort and hopefully provide some comfort in these challenging times. My recent work with Cornwall tertiary Colleges will also provide excellent examples of "investing for success".
